Dance4Life will have her own boat during the Canal Parade Pride in Amsterdam! We consider it as an honor to support the LGBTI community in this way. In our curriculum, the Journey4Life, we focus on self-respect and respect for others.
The theme of Pride Amsterdam 2019 is: ‘Remember the past, create the future’. Super relevant! Because despite all the good steps that have already been taken, we still see (sexual) violence based on gender.
We strive for a future in which this no longer occurs. With our curriculum, the Journey4Life, we empower youngsters to make their own choices: You decide for yourself. That is why we will ask attention for #IDECIDE4MYSELF during the Canal Parade. I decide who I love, I decide with who I have sex, I decide how I look.
