After the successful closure of the Right Here Right Now (RHRN) and the Get Up Speak Out (GUSO) partnerships in 2020, Dance4Life is now part of a new strategic partnership funded by the Dutch Foreign Ministry.
RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW II
Right Here Right Now 2 (RHRN2) is a follow-up to the successful strategic partnership Right Here Right Now which ran from 2016-2020with funding from the Dutch Foreign Ministry. The new partnership started in 2021 between consortium lead Rutgers and partners AMPF, ARROW, Bandhu, CHOICE, RHU, and RNW Media, together with technical partners Dance4Life and IPPF-AR. Together, the consortium partners bring decades of experience and expertise in advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)of young people.
With advocacy and capacity strengthening as main strategies, RHRN2 seeks to enable young people in all their diversity to enjoy their SRHR in gender-just societies in 10countries across Asia and Africa. The partnership puts young people at the forefront as it seeks to unleash the power of youth; increase public support, policies and laws for young people’s SRHR; and strengthen civil society.
Dance4Life’s role in this partnership is to reach out and involve young people to amplify their voices. We use our expertise on youth consultations, youth empowerment and youth leadership to support young people and the organisations that work for them and with them at all levels. We provide technical know-how on mobilizing public support, people-powered campaigning and working with (social) media and influencers, and we co-create and make digital and face-to-face learning tools and platforms available for consortium partners.
RHRN2 works through partners in: Bangladesh, Benin, Burundi, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kenya, Morocco, Nepal, Tunisia and Uganda
